I am not getting any hot air out of the under-dash vent and have done a search of previous posts and know it may be something to do with the flap but I can't see what I need to adjust and in which menu. Any suggestions please.

Otherwise I am really pleased with the car and the service from Racing Green.

Stange how the heater seems to pick up faults shortly after the car's been 'tinkered' with! lol
When you say 'underdash', do you mean the footwell vents? If you mean the 'centre' vents, the one nearest the steering wheel, then no hot air comes from them at all, just cold air, the hot air comes out of the windscreen vents and the footwell vents only.
If you have heat blowing out of the windscreen vents, and not footwell, it would definitely be a flap prob. I think there's some flap settings on here somewhere, as the service could have 'reset' some of the initial settings for the flaps.

Chris,
Sorry for not being clearer, and not wanting to spoil my relationship with Racing Green, it's new, just out of the box. And yes, it's the footwell vents I mean. Thanks for the reply.

Martin.

Hi Martin,

It could well be the flap settings that are wrong, but this should be dealt with by the dealer, pretty swiftly I hope. The heaters on these cars do seem to be very over-complicated, with a lot of the inner dash being space being taken up with modules specifically for the heater/flaps etc.

Martin,

Did you know there was more than 1 vent in the passenger side footwell? I didn't realise there was but there is one immediately under the dash and one on the transmisson tunnel.

So I wonder if 1 blows hot air out and the other blows cool?

Just a thought and of course I could be wrong.

Catherine,
Thanks for the tip, I have found the one under the dash but not the one on the transmission tunnel. I will take a look tomorrow.

Martin.

On my Tamora the vent under the dash is connected to the A/C (and will blow heat as well) and the one in the footwell isn't (will blow warm air if the heat is turned up just like the drivers side footwell but not connected to the A/C).

Heater flap settings can be changed using one of the menus accessible with the steering wheel buttons - it may be the factory setting, but I can't remember which. If you do a search on this forum you should find several threads for you to check/adjust the settings yourself - that may help.

Thanks, yes I am now getting hot air in the drivers footwell but the passengers footwell vent is stuck shut - one for the 1000 miles snag list.
