Used to have these on my Evo..
Unbelievable grip on track, similar to a Mich sport Cup, but without the wear factor.
Also with the relatively light weight of the Sag, should work well.!
On the Toyo website, they are listing tyre in 255/35/18

Paul, you are probably better to ask on the Cerbera forum where Jes Firth/ Andrew Farrel will see it. They have been running R888's for a while now and Jes Firth certainly seems to rate them quite highly!! (although IIRC hes running 16"s they should behave similarly or better on both our cars lower profiles... if dad goes that route

They were absolutely fine, in the wet..
but, I was in an Evo.![]()
Mmm, not much of a test then!
Appreciate would wear as a road tyre, but thinking of using gently on road in between a few trackdays.
This would require negotiating the odd flood during the 'Summer'
The R888 is def a weekend/trackday tyre, you would be unwise to use it for commuting, unless you have deep pockets.
The wet road grip is all down to driver input, as in how much right foot..
I drove my CSL with cups in mega wet conditions, no probs, but you have to be sensible.!
I think the on track ability of this tyre, along with the Sag's strong chassis setup, could provide some quick laptimes.
