Does anyone have a copy of a snagging list they have given to their dealer when they took the car back for it's first service.
We have a few things for the dealer to look at, but nothing like the 2 page tome's that I have heard people mention.
It could be that we are unaware of things and if someone could let me see their list I would be grateful.
So far the list is mainly adjustments more than anything else.

I'm thinking much the same thing myself.
Got the Sagaris booked in for 1000 mile service mid October and the only things I've noticed so far are fuel sensor and air con error codes during the first couple of days (not happened since!). Plus the alarm is a little sensitive, seems to be going off when people are just looking around the car (so quite often
) and sometimes seemingly of it's own accord (wind/rain etc??).
So all in all nothing really to report. But I would like to know if there's anything worth looking out for, just in case

Yes we love the Tam.
We had the fuel sensor error (once) and I know it is reading correctly. No Air Con Error but we do have the followings issues for the dealer to look at.
1. Alarm Sensitivity Adjustment
2. Bonnet Catch Adjustment
3. Boot Lid Adjustment
4. Leak in the deepest section of the Passenger Footwell
Number 4 has only appeared yesterday and is a little odd as it is only the fixed carpets on the sidewall/transmisson tunnel that are damp
So hardly a long list and certainly not 1/2 sides of A4, plus non of the above are affecting our enjoyment of the car.

It might be worth checking that your windscreen wipers are not rubbing on the edge of the bonnet. Some of them have.
Here's mine from the initial 1000 mile service:
One week later my car is back in the garage:
- Drivers seat doesn't always stay locked in position. I've tried adjusting the carpets as suggesty by the factory but the problem persist and can be unerving when the seat flies back during acceleration.
- Drivers side kickplate is bent.
- I've had the AA out three times since the car was delivered as the battery has drained to the point that the car won't start. Each time I checked and all the doors and boot lid have been closed all the way and the interior dome light has been turned off since the car was delivered; I've waited to enusure no interior or exterior lights remain on after the immobiliser engages as well. The AA have tested the batter and said it's 100% so there must be something draining the battery - I suspect either the alarm (see below) or the passenger door (see below). I leave the car in a locked garage and at the most has been unused for two days, when I open the garage the drivers window will be down and the battery drained. I've since purchased a Accumate battery charger/condition and that seems to be keeping the battery charged. However, if I don't connect the Accumate even for one night the battery is drained.
- About 50% of the time there is a high pitched squeeling/buzzing/tone/noise coming from rear passenger side of the car - I'm unable to tell if this is the door lock or window. Or could this be a problem with the fuel pump?
- Passenger door window opens and closes much slower than the driver side and seems to labours. THE PASSENGER WINDOW NO LONGER OPERATES - I'm guessing the motor may be defective?
- There is a faint knocking/tapping noise coming from the passenger door as if the door is trying to lock/open. The door remains closed and will open normally but makes this noise until the imobiliser has been engaged (note that the alarm does not always work). If you listen carefully this noise can be heard when the car is running as well. The noise can be heard sometimes even when the door is open. This always occurs after turning off the car - I'm uncertain if this is occuring when the car is running as the noise can't be heard over the noise from the exhause and the vibrations fo the engine are to much as well. Sometimes the noise occurs every few seconds, other times the sound is fast and continuous in an erratic way.
- Passenger window regularly behaves erratically opening and closing without pressing the buttons when the car has been stationary but also happens with the car running as well as when the car is turned off and the key removed. This hasn’t occurred since the window stopped working.
- The alarm doesn't always engage and on a few occasions the alarm has beep when I press the button but in most cases only the side lights flash. Most of the time only the immobiliser is engaged and on a couple of occasions the windows have not automatically closed. I have been following the direction in the Tamora Owners Handbook and have contacted the factory who also walked through the correct procedure for arming and disarming the alarm and it still fails to work correctly. There are no problems with the immobiliser that I've noticed. This problem needs to be sorted as I'm often unable to lock the car as only the immobiliser activates.
- The front ends of the rubber seal on the roof panel have come loose on both sides.
- Rear wheel arches have rough, spotted areas (look ok but not smooth to the touch) in the paint on either side just behind the rear wheels.
- Small areas not painted - rear spoilers in the crease to the right of the light; the rear diffuster in the crease to the right of the exhausts.
- Small marked area in the paint in the second vent from the front on the bonnet and slightly larger area on the passenger side bonnet vents.
- The handbrake indicator light doesn't go off when the handbrake is disengaged.
- Thin areas of paint on the front wings. They look fine straight on but from a rear or front angle they appear blotchy and thin in spots.
- Rattle/vibration coming from or very near the dash pod - can usually be heard during idle, can't be heard over the road and exhaust noise when driving.
- There is a leak in the drivers side foot well. This occurs when driving in wet conditions and is erratic. It's coming somewhere from the right side of the footwell.
- The rubber seal at the base of the folding roof nearest the driver side door has come loose and is dangling leaving a large gap.
- The rubber seal on the roof panel along the top of the passenger door is coming loose (near the door opening, not the wing mirror)
One week later my car is back in the garage:
- The blower for the heater / air conditioning isn't working. All the lights come on as usual and the air con is working because the cabin does cool down eventually when driving at motorway speeds. Once the blower is working please check both the air con and heat to ensure it is working through the appropriate vents as I've not noticed any heat since the initial 1000 mile service. I've also tried adjusting the heater flap setting via the dash computer with no results. This was working prior to the initial 1000 mile service.
- Since the initial 1000 mile service that the alarm has been working correctly but it's overly sensitive. It goes off almost every time someone walks by and always goes off when opening or closing the garage door. Can the sensitivity be reduced?
- About 50% of the time there is a high pitched squeeling/buzzing/tone/noise (difficult to explain) coming from rear passenger side of the car. This sometimes occurs both when the ignition is turned on and before the engine is started. Other times this sound occurs when the car is turned off. I'm unable to tell if this is coming from the passenger door or the car itself. I can confirm that this is NOT the usual sound of the fuel pump priming - it is a distinctly different type of sound. This was on the initial 1000 mile service snaglist.
- Passenger door window opens slower than the driver side window. This was on the initial 1000 mile service snaglist.
- The handbrake light doesn’t always go off when the handbrake is disengaged - when it stays on it's solid and does not flicker on and off. This was on the initial 1000 mile service snaglist.
- The revs fluctuates irregularly during idle and tends to stall at start-up. This never happened prior to the initial 1000 mile service. Could this be caused by the Super Sports Silencers that we're fitted?
- The dash rattles and makes all sorts of noise at idle and low revs as if something is loose which it never did before the initial 1000 mile service.

Thanks for that Mrs Triple S. I'll have a looksee tomorrow
. Having read through lundinoir's extensive list the only one I can see that might be an issue is a dash rattling/vibration type noise when the car is idling or upon start-up. TBH I think I've always experienced this type of 'quirk' with TVRs - perhaps worth bringing this up?

Lundinoir - tht is rather a long list. Hope you get the remaining snags sorted soonly!
I had about 10-15 snags, but none stopped the car running, mostly things needing adjusting. Everything worked except the speedo intermittently failing. Your car simply should not have sticky windows/dodgy fan/aircon/nasty rattles.
BTW, notice nobody seems to have major mechanical problems, its all trim and fit/finish snags.

For comparison here are my 1000 and 6000 mile service snag lists:
1000 mile list
Air con not working (cable in engine bay shorted)
Windscreen - leak above passenger sun visor
Fan belt slipping
Minor oil leak from sensor at front R/H corner of car
Windscreen wiper rubbing on bodywork
Minor coolant leak (I hadn't noticed this - the dealer did)
6000 mile list
Chrome on rear T350 badge flaking off
Rain leaks in though driver's door seal
Driver's door rubbing on bodywork at trailing edge
L/H rear light cluster lets in moisture
Glove box lid distorted and does not stay shut
Rattling rear door
Minor oil leak from sensor at front R/H corner of car
So nothing major at all. I would be really annoyed if my wife's Audi had any of these problems, but on the TVR it doesn't bother me at all and it still puts a massive smile on my face every time I drive it!
Lundinoir - I hope you get your list sorted quickly, you do sound to have been very unlucky with your Tam.

There was a earthing problem with the electrics on my Tamora which sorted many of the items on my list. My 2001 Tuscan had over 100 items on the snagging list and most of those we're listed before leaving the dealer after collecting my car. Even my smart car had a longer snaglist!
Overall I'm very happy with the quality of the Tamora, much better build quality than my previous TVRs.
The dash rattle is an interesting one as when it was initially serviced they had the dash in pieces sorting the electrical problem and the slight rattle (only occured around 2000 RMP). Hopefully it will be something simple to sort. When I dropped my car off and went through the list they said the idle had been changed to suit a hot engine rather than cold as 90% of the cars running life is spent when warmed up. So the 'rougher' idle when cold may be why there are more rattles when first started up. They're going to check it anyhow.
Mine is list is reasonably small - Warning code 19 - Fuel Sensor (normally when about 25l left in the tank), both windows very slow at about 1/2 way up onwards, passenger footwell vent stuck shut, mark on passenger seat, a couple of very slight paint problems, condensation on the left-hand window/door switch when the air-con is on and a seat back badge is missing. Nothing that detracts from the driving experience.
Maybe I have been lucky. March 05 T350. First 1000 mile service just a rattle from the back hatch .6000 miles a passenger door trim detail and that was it.
Recent problem at 8000 miles is a faulty oil sender which TVR are going to sort but I check it every week for oil-not used a drop so far. Only problem is circa £2000 year for serviceing at this rate
