My Tam is misfiring quite badly under acceleration and this worsens as the engine warms up. No warnings messages are displayed so I doubt its an ECU fault.
I think its something simple like the timing or fuel supply but I have no idea where to start looking as I can't find the distributor, coil or even the spark-plugs!
I wondered if anyone here had experienced anything similar or could give me some pointers to the components I should check before I start throwing money at it to get it fixed.
Thanks

How many miles has your Tam done? If it's around 14K or over, chances are you need the throttle pots changing, I had exactly the same symptoms last year, and panicked like you too! I sent TVR Power an email, explaining the symptoms, and the reply basically said don't worry, throttle pots are worn, they will need changing.
I am hoping it's that simple for your Tam.

Its rapidly approaching 30k miles. The throttle pot (TP) went on my S2 and the symptoms were similar to this.
To check the TP on the S2 I was told to disconnect it. If the car runs smoother with it disconnected then it needs replacing, if not, it must be something else.
I guess the same would be true for the Tam. Any idea where the TP is located?

You can't disconnect the throttle pots on the S6, it won't run at all! They are a pair of Ford units, cost around the £70/80 mark (bought from TVR Power, and put on by my local dealership), if you look at the 2nd post down on here;

The one throttle pot is easy to see, it is the small black plastic unit (with the white circle on the outer surface, with a 'dove-tail' at the lower quadrant)attached to the end of the throttle pot rail. These wear in time, and make the bodies go all out of sync, causing it to 'seem' like it's misfiring..
