Just wondering if amyone has taken delivery of new Sagaris with smoothed over slats as was rumoured to be an option a while back as would be interesting to see in the flesh.

Also think its a shame that ford parts bin has been raided for stalks as thought the original bespoke touch set it apart from the boring interior of say, a Noble!

Stalks can be acquired from a T350, I should think they would be a direct fit.

They raided the parts bin back in 2001 for the Tamora.
Then then fitted covers to make it look prettier (same for the t350 and Sagaris).

Seems they've stopped covering them up now...

Did they? Which bits?
All Tamoras I've seen have alloy stalks.

From reading the other threads I believe the alloy stalks are just covers fitted directly over the original Ford stalks.

This is the Sagaris that was at Silverstone, apart from the MOMO wheel, it seems that everything else is the same as the Tam/T350, no bad thing, as you have all the info in very readable form at your fingertips, if it ain't broke.......
Personally, I'd much prefer something that works to give me vital info, than something that is tempremental at the best of times, but looks like it's been modelled by Jules Verne.

They are exactly the same stalks in all Tam's T350's and Sags, even the latest Tuscans with the new Convertable lead dash.

When the Tam was introduced TVR choose to use a ford colomn, hence the key.... but just had slide over alloy covers on them, this is all that has changed so they should be easily available as spares from TVR if you want to add them to any new car as none of the models are fitted with covers now.

Yep, I drove a very early Tam at CN's with the bare stalks, looked the same as the ones they are now offering on the tusc 2 Conv and Sag.

Apart from obvious cost cutting, the other reason the aluminium stalks have been deleted could be one of reliability (shock!), the extra weight at the end of each stalk is probably going to overcome the little plastic switches inside the (Focus?) stalks.

Mine have a weight problem. When the car goes over a big bump the wipers turn on.

lol, Have to admit, I didn't realise the stalks were just hollow sleeves, and the original Ford ones are still in place! Learn something new everyday! (Although I did always wonder why they were so chubby! Now I know!!)

Crikey just seeing those shot of the interior really make me miss my car! I'm going home at the weekend thank goodness, I'll be able to take it out for a quick blat then! It's been too long!

I love the tam/t350/Sag interior and all the information from the digital dash. Why more cars don't have lots of info is beyond me, especially sports cars. The Lotus Esprit V8 I had, had 4 dials and that was your lot. Speedo, revs, water temp, fuel. They were all pretty low quality dials too. Well done TVR.
