Car has been in Racing Green all week, having a few bits and bobs done..

Biggest job was, repairing and spraying a massive stone chip, just above front no. plate, I picked up last week.. very good job has been done, looks like new.!

Also couple warranty bits.. seatbelt replaced + assorted rattles.

Anyway, while it was there, I set Martin a task..

Exhaust was just a bit too quiet, with very few..(for me anyway).. pops and bangs.!

As there is no decent aftermarket rear box, we decided to go down the R&D route on the exisitng box.

The end result is absolutely perfect.!!

Now have mega pops and bangs on overun at 3k, similar to Cerbie 4.5 sports exhaust + a real rip on full throttle through the revs. :D

And the icing is, that there is no ear splitting resonance, like I had on the 350RR with sports exhaust.

Seriously pleased with result, really finishes the car off nicely. :D

All I need now, is that lovely black/chrome finish on my wheels.!

Cheers

Mean this, that pic does not do the finish on the wheels, justice..

Saw these wheels on a few cars at Gatwick TVR, and they look absolutely stunning.!

nice one rob, the resonance went away on the 350rr and i have never heard a better sound on any car ever.... maybe the saggy could be close due to sideways expulsion. bye the way we had a baby girl , weve named her Hannah.

Congrats mate, hope all goes well.!
I take it, there will be lots of baby head wetting.

So no Sag/350..?
You'll be needing a nice MPV, now.

What I do for you guys..

Excuse my graphic skills.

Standard box is actually quite restrictive, mine now has been liberated to some degree, sound is not much louder, but is a better quality.. also engine rips through revs quicker.

Chambers are sectioned.

Good thing about this setup, is absolutely no resonance through car..

Every car that I've put a aftermarket system on, from M3 to 911 has given me headaches on the motorway, and an earbashing from missus.

Also everything external is standard, so no probs with insurance, if you have an off, and no probs with bib, if you get pulled.!

When I sell the car or get bored, just order new rear box for £350, have been quoted.

Nice!

Are they highly polished anthracite or something different? I don't remember seeing anything other than sliver and anthracite as options from the factory.
