If the Sig has a 50bhp more tuned engine, could a 350 be factory built with the Sig engine or what mods would be required to achieve it.

That's true, though I believe it was a TVR special (of a few). I doubt the factory would offer that spec of car without significant persuasion (though you could always ask).
