Has anyone noticed we all have the same wing mirrors as you get on the squillion pound Mclaren F1. Cool.

That said, I'd love a pair of the Sagaris prototype and show car wing mirrors - they are also on LNT's T400R road car. They are exactly the same, just a bit more sculpted and maybe a bit wider.

I'm still not 100% convinced by the extended stalks on the Sagaris. Some days I think, cool, very GT car. Other days I think the extensions look a bit poxy and that standard t350/tam/tusc ones look better and much neater.

We are trying to get ours changed.

The ones supplied have a dreadful blindspot....

Hoping to change them for some convex ones...or is it concave....

No...I'm sure it's convexed...

could well be. I dare say they can be found on quite a few other cars too.

Lotus esprits used Citroen prestige wing mirrors ever since the 89 restyle. the XJ220 used the same ones too.

I can't decide if I like the big stalks either - one minute I like the 'tidy' T350 mirrors, next minute I like the stalkesque look. I guess they're both cool.

BTW, one of my pet annoyances - they're door mirrors. Wing mirrors went out with the Morris Minor.

Who needs wing mirrors anyway...... you only need to set them up to see yourself as you drive along!

They are kind of handy when reversing though...

They are Corrado or whatever it's called. The stalks were necessary for type approval. Because the car is lower and has inlarged rear haunches.

Does anyone have any idea where the factory got the Sagaris prototype mirrors from?
