Sports Exhaust
Discussion
Dead easy? 6 bolts on holding the diffuser to the body and 2 small ones betwean the diffuser and the heat shield, also the heat shield tucks under the exhaust mouting rubbers, you'll need to pull this out when you undo the mounts, 2 bolts each side. Then you just undo the clamps and pull it off!!!!! If it's not been stuck on with asembly paste should come off ok.
I backed my car onto some wooden ramps i had, but you can get under without. Put a blanket down to drop the diffuser onto so it doesn't scratch the paint.

Hi Andy
Not selling the beast are you??
Removing the sports exhaust is easy mate.
If you look upwards through the numerous holes in the rear spoiler you will see aprox 4 bolts, these are of the allen key type.
there are also possibly two each side, just outside the two fins on either side of the car.
You might also find that there is a dog legged shape bracket holding the centre of the spoiler in the middle, near the front of the molding, and near the two exhaust pipes.
I have had mine of at least 4 times, and it's a piece of cake, and takes about half a hour.
Good luck...Dave
PS. one of the problems you may have is being able to get the bolts out near the out side fins, as the fixings screw into a molded in type of alloy socket, and they turned in the glass, making it a barsteward to remove those bolts.

Yes it looks like I am parting company with her.
Thus I will have a sports exhaust for sale if anyone wants one
Hi Andy, are you getting another Tiv, or are you leaving the fold?
Advertise the sports exhaust on here in the classifieds.
If you would rather not say on here, what car you will be getting, mail me via my profile.
anyway, whatever you get, good luck.
Dave
M3 CSL?
oh dear, oh dear
IBROKER, you'd thought you'd have learnt your lesson from your profile. The car may well be great apart from the awful smg box but how can you live with the image?
Have you driven a Sagaris yet? It might be more lairy but the drive is exceptional and at least it makes people smile. Both cars generate lots of hand gestures from other road users to. The Sagaris gets thumbs ups (as do t350s). M3's tend to get something more like shaking a can of WD40, but without the WD40
