Fantastic.

A weekend in Cornwall for the pair of us, including a late night thrash across the top of Bodmin Moor on Friday evening in the rain. Gris was faultless all weekend.

Dont worry, pics will be following of a how a car should really look, i.e. it's been driven and used, not a showroom wannabe.

136 may or may not have been seen on readout on the A38, I couldnt possibly confirm. At whatever speeds were driven at however, she was absolutely rock solid stable.

One other thing, at little addition to the fuels debate we have been having. I have been running Gris on Opti mostly, but have switched to normal for a while, inc. this weekend to see how it compares. Performance is a little down and I suspec fuel consumption is down about 1-2mpg on average, esp. when you are pressing on.

Anyway, 3600 miles now in 2.5months. This weekend was 700 miles, we have another 1000 miles mini hol upto Northumberland and Edin. in a cpl of weeks. Soon be time for that 6000 miles service...about Xmas time! Bugger :(

Also got the pleasure of the fiancee driving Gris and I was in front. Window down listening the 6 gurgling away :) Now I will be the first to admit Im biased because she is my gorgeous fiancee (no really she is, a proper English rose :) ) but is there not something stupendously sexy about seeing a young lady driving and stepping out of a sports car? Esp an evil looking dark green and black Sagaris :)

Sounds like a brilliant run down there - used to live down that way, spent some time yomping on the moors. Give me a shout when you are up to Edinburgh - If it's same time as Internationals at Murrayfield I'll be there. Even if they aren't on, I'll take it as an excuse for a run!!
Totally agree with girls and sports cars - Jane (redhead) and the (green) cerb are a perfect mix!!

We clocked over the 8000 mile mark after our run up to Gaydon for the committee meeting and then across country for the racing at Snetterton at the weekend.

One thing I appreciate about the Sagaris is being able to do a long journey as a passenger, getting out at the other end and not feeling cramped or needing to stretch....it has so much room.

Ray too noticed how good she is fuel wise. He tends to run Optimax but it's good to know that you can stick the other stuff in too if necessary.

A lady that drives a sports car sounds good to me - but the chance of a TVR driver being mature??!!

As my lady is young I will stick in that demographic. If I made this into a more "mature" thread then I face a line of questioning of the "are you saying Im old then?" nature from said fiancee. Im sure the boys know exactly the nature of the conversation!

Indeed I do!

Luckily I'm also able to identify with all the good stuff you have to say about your car.

I'm going home to the UK this weekend for the first time in ages to give the Sagaris an airing. I really can't wait.
