Got a weird thing going on with the lights today. Hoping its just 'cos 1 Full beam bulb has blown. :-
Was driving in the rain at lunch time & put mainbeam on. Up comes the fullbeam warning light on the dash. Toggle the stalk & it stays lit. ie FB warning lit regardless of main or full selected.
No probs drive home on sidelights.

Checking lights on the drive:-
Side lights ok.
Switch to mainbeam and get the blue warning light for fullbeam lit on the dash but I have a normal "bright" (loosest term) on the near side but only a dim (dimmer than usual) on the offside.
Toggle the stalk to Full beam and get full beam on near side & nothing on offside light.

Has anyone had this with theirs?
Is it just a blown fullbeam filament or something more expensive?

CH
ps I'll let you all know later tomorrow when I change the bulb...

Luckily its the driver's one you're now changing - the passenger one requires the wheel off and muchas masticas cutoff cursus to remove the access panel.

I hope its just the bulb.

Jeeeesus. You have to be a fully qualified gynaecologist to get to these buggers.
Only had time to have a quick look so far, haven't managed it yet.
You can either look at the connection or try & get your hand to it but not both at the same time....
I'll try again tomorrow (weather permitting...)
