I haven't sold the Ultima yet which will fund my next project but decided to take a visit to my local TCR dealer last Wednesday.

I went to view a Cerbera initially but started to look at what else was there including the Sagaris. Sadly I came away disappointed by the lack of interest from the sales guy, it was the mechanic that came over and showed me the cars, he was by far the most friendly guy there.

Today I decided to give another dealer a try so popped out in the Ultima to Castle TVR in Essex. What a difference, the sales guy spent probably an hour just talking to me about the car, my options regarding colours and interior choices.

I now plan to pop back next week and take a demo drive who knows once the Ultima has gone a Sagaris could well fill the gap.

Well, I've just come back from a test drive in the Sagaris at TVR Centre, Barnet.

Wow, what a car............. I must say it handled extremely well and wasn't as harsh as I expected (saying that neither was the Ultima). As for the S6 engine, I can actually say I thought it sounded beautiful which again was a surprise after having 2 big US V8 engined cars.

I liked the interior quality too and I can now see why you guys spend so long deciding what to do.

After building my last 2 cars I think I could live with all the little niggles that seem to come hand in hand with TVR ownership

Ultima GTR anyone!!!!

Cheers

Michael
