Dear all having studied this forum for weeks and weeks now and having read about your experiences good and bad it has not detered me abit in wanting to buy a T350 ( but definately a 'C' following the discussion running at the present!)
I'm a rare private buyer in the winter, particluarly given the awful weather this week. I have a limited budget to spend and I will be going up to TMS on saturday for the auction, unless it gets sold on e-bay before hand!
I have read with interest over discussions on the TVR used warranty that is available but is it available for any age of T350, private or trade? I would buy private but equally, as i think someone pointed out, the trade deals at the moment are good from traders with stagnent stock.

Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Mark

sub 25K, not alot i know, test drove a tuscan today, very nice, but mileage was quite high, juddered a bit (although just had engine re-build from TVR Power), but that may have been the driving!
No, T350c i feel will remain stronger from a residules point of view and sale ability in the future, the market seems flooded with tuscans now.

Have you considered a Tamora? Rare as an intelligent statement from George Bush, and very good prices at the moment.

I am soon to sell my blue 01Y Tuscan (new purchase on its way soon) and could be persuaded to do it sooner if you're interested.

i wouldnt rush to buy, i have been looking at buying a T350 for about a month and am so glad i didnt buy then (jason barker midas gold T350 for 29k). Im the ebay high bidder on the TMS T350 at present and you can see how slow the bids are on that, its not helped of course by no aircon. Anyway i reckon the prices will slide until xmas, then people will be looking forward to spring and they will hang on for all the money. So in short i reckon you will easy get a good one before xmas and it could be well under your 25k, but i probably would not leave it much longer than that.

T350C in Summer without aircon = a very very sweaty ride...especially in trafic jams. If I were you I would spend the £2.2k + VAT and have it retro fitted.

Ok if you are driving it now, but not in June - September...

Agree with Mr Freefall - its essential for hot days in town but also for demisting in winter.

Guy - Got your e-mail and have sent a response.

Little leon - sorry but i'm going to keep looking for a C as the alledged wind noise does put me off a bit.

Interesting what is said about the air-con, it has made me a bit nervous of those without, but i suppose if the price is right it could be worth it.

Rapid Rental - Are you going on saturday to TMS, because the thing isn't shifting on ebay and I reckon it will still be un-sold up until saturday? The Tuscan 2 for sale is doing a bit better though.

Conner - thanks, i'll have a look

Mark

no im not going to the auction, i spoke to the md today and he is quite unrealistic about the values of the cars. talking about knocking 1k off their current prices! big deal. they all have resrrves set as well and i got the impression he wasnt bothered if they sold or not. also i reckon at 2003 T350 with no aircon is only worth 22k at this time of year.

Is that NickBeef's old car? I'm sure there's not many in that colour combo/spec....
