I had to go to Halfwits to get some oil to do an oil change on nippers MX5, I noticed as I was going in there were a couple of car alarms going off.
I came out and a few more were going off, 5 mins later Mike came out and I tried to open the car it wouldn't open on the remote. I tried a few more times but nothing.
Could be the battery? so Mike went into Halfwits to get a couple of batteries, but was told a lot of people couln't open their cars with remotes.
Half an hour(ish)and lots of alarms later my car unlocked.

Sounds like interference from a nearby radio mast or something similar. Happens a Heathrow quite often if you park in the 'internal' multistories. Always happens to my Audi A6 at a Shell Petrol station in Bracknell which is near a mast (Coppid Beach for the locals). My TVR did it in Leeds in an underground carpark (worked intermittently, but only there).

Possible, Ocean FM is not far away. Never had any problems before there.
