Well, after some minor delays I finally got hold of my new Sag today
The drive back from the dealer was a bit nerve racking to start with, but I’m starting to feel a bit more confident with it now. It’s my first TVR, although I have previously owned a Lotus & Porsches but this is something else!

I'm really pleased with the Chameleon Orange, it looks stunning when the sunlight catches it.

Roll on the weekend, I hope it stays dry.

Nice one!!

Ah, that's what Chameleon Orange looks like when it's clean!!!

After picking mine up I spent half an hour backing and filling in a garden centre - go left outside Henley Heritage, 1 km down the road, on the right. I very carefully did a few circuits, and then some reversing, handbrake starts etc. Drew some amused looks from the arriving and departing shoppers in the customer carpark
Then I felt confident enough to very carefully start the trip back to Scotland!

All the best

that's one heck of a christmas present!

but remember a TVR is for life, not just for christmas...

and the fun lasts a lot longer than boxing day. I've had mine since April and I simply cannot wait until I use it again this Christmas!

Congratulations Witty. What interior colours you got - any pics?

That an old Ferrari or a ride on lawnmower beside it?

Gary.

I think you need to be more careful of those 'securely' stacked items in your garage Witty. Right next door to your p&j...

Gary.

I wish, it's a ride on mower. Still it's good fun, although i haven't managed to get it sideways yet !
I'll post some more pic's to the colour options thread.

Its not fair

I hope you know how lucky you are.

Anyway, hello all, my first post here. I'm not a TVR owner but hope to be in the future.

Welcome, Witty! That's a beautiful looking Saggy you've got there. You've got some fun times ahead, my friend. Did you manage to take it out for a blast (albeit you're still running it in) this weekend?

Matty

More of a tootle than a blast at <3500rpm, but still thoroughly enjoyable.
It's true what the say about these things turning heads and stopping traffic. Lots of waves and thumbs up. One chap even came running out of a shop and asked if he could take some pictures! So glad I chose this over 997

Hi Witty,

Congrats on the new car, very nice

Someone on the Exterior Colour Options thread has asked what the 2 buttons are by the gear lever, I haven't seen these on the car I've bought.
