I have slight dripping oil front drivers side (2004 Tam), I reckon from reading previous threads on this forum the ops is the culprit. TVR Power have sent me a new switch and have said it is easy to fit once the air box is removed, has anyone done this? I have removed the 2 allen key bolts and 6 phillips screws together with the rubber pipe, electrical connection and spring clips which loosens the cover but there still seems to be something holding it on thanks in advance

DId you undo all the clips? As there are three clips two are visable & one is on the underneath in the middle.

I had the same problem, it is the clip underneath that you will have missed. Reach under the airbox and its just around the throttle spring area. it easy to undo.

The sender is mounted onto the edge of inner wing, just infront of the airbox, in an a block of alloy with 2 wires going to it and a braded oil pipe.

Thanks Ginner, I assumed it was but unfortunately could not get it off seems to be siezed on and I was worried about breaking off the alloy block as it seems to only be held on to the inner wing by what looks like 2 woodscrews.
