Went for a spin yesterday (no, not literally) with a trip to the DIY store (yes, had to be done) and then a quick drive round Chester to see how many shoppers I could get to rubber neck/walk into lamp posts/fall over/ shout “Nice car Mister” etc., etc..

Anyway, enough of that, back to topic….

When I started up in the morning I had to clear all three temp warnings; Oil, Water and Ambient - all at -2C. Chilly!

Tiv started beautifully though.

How are you finding the cold starting?

Well when the car was with us (Haven't seen it for nearly 4 weeks), cold starting was not a problem. Our car lives outside all year round and it doesn't have a car cover. We have been very impressed with it starting in cold weather. We have frequently seen -6 on the display.

Just fired it up today after six days. -2C on all the readings but she started first time on zero throttle and ran well. Took longer than normal to reach 60C because of the air temperature but no problems at all. They arn't fragile cars

Sounds serious, what's the problem?

Martin.
