Try looking at the following website as it has some footage of the 2004 (I think) Cannonball run and possibly entry details.

First of all.....hi Sacha, it's been a while! How's things with you? (2004 Car 69 here!
). Secondly, there were TVRs in the 2005 CBRE too (Chimera, Cerbera and Sagaris, I believe). I think the Chim came third, IIRC.
Pay heed to the warnings about stickers. Also be prepared to get into trouble, be prepared to be fined. I have heard of the potential for cars to be confiscated, but what you'd need to do to get done that heavily I don't know. Radar detectors are illegal in France, and I think they are in most other countries on the Continent.
Having said that, I had a great time in 2004, loads of great memories despite the unexpected changes in transport my friend and I endured!
