Hello everyone, after just cleaning my car thoroughly I have realised that two marks have appeared on the paint work, one is a stone chip below the headlight and the other is on the side of the rear lower spoiler, towards the underneath of the car.

Just wondering if you can actually buy a touch up paint for the car and if so where from? I would get the car proffesionally done of course

Incase you hadnt worked it out the colour is Spectraflair Silver.

Thanks

We were given some by Gatwick TVR when we bought our car.
You could try contacting them for details. They are really helpful.

Not to go off topic too much here, but is Spectraflair Silver fairly resilient to stone chips and are they very noticeable? Will be hopefully soon be ordering my Tuscan2 in this color.

It is such a beautiful colour

Unfortunately we seem to notice every time we get a new stone chip. I think its because we are always looking to see if we have any - you know how it is - always wanting it to look perfect.

We have done 12,000 miles in less than a year and it still looks good.

Here's a very recent photo. It doesnt show it very clearly but I can never resist the urge to put a picture of it on PH.

Yes I know what mean about wanting to look perfect all the time, we will be buying from Gatwick TVR as well so hopefully will get the touch up paint as well! I have only seen the colour in photos & colour swatches, but my better half has seen it somewhere and really fell for it.

We hadn't seen it in the flesh either before we ordered it and I have to admit to losing sleep waiting for it, wondering how it was going to look.

I wasn't disappointed and I'm sure you wont be either.

Thanks Lorraine, I'll give them a go (PS car looks great)

Have to agree, its a great colour. Chips wise, the front of my car has armourfend but where a few wayward stones have hit the paint it's only really noticeable close up.
