What's the best soundtrack to drive a 'T / S' to?

(Besides the general noise!)

You know the sort that sends tingles, when you give it the beans!

Right now i can't get much better than ColdPlay: Square One

Favourites?

Don Henley - The Boys of Summer. Used to love that one in the SEAC with the roof down and it still works in the T350. Seems a bit out of season at the moment though...

'Numb' by Linkin Park encourages very exhuberent driving but possibly too exhuberent. The most dangerous song to licence and limb known to man is 'the chain' by fleetwood mac. It's the old BBC F1 theme tune (sigh, those were the days!). It sounds like a corny choice but it's impossible not to rev the engine hard when you hear the classic bassline. It was designed to go with engine sounds. I played it in my Escort Cosworth on my first ever lap on my first ever trackday at Donnington Park many moons ago. Never again.

Track 3 of Hold Your Colour (I think) by Pendulum.

It has a great clip in it from Spiderman 2....

"...ladies and gentlemen.....Fasten your seatbelts!" and then the music kicks like a mule and your driving at 100 kph

I agree with the choice of Prodigy, it's great "fast music"

If you're rolling with your home-boys around the hood you could try Saian Supa crew www.saiansupacrew.com/

For a classical treat, try Mars the bringer of war from Holst's Planet Suite.....once it gets going you will want to destroy any piece of tarmac you see in front of you...only invoke this kind of passion on a warm, dry day on private roads

Cheers

I like the idea of the Stone's - Brown Sugar !. Here's a small sample of what I'm listening to at the moment in the car:

Rock:
The Cult - She sells sanctuary,
Sisters of Mercy - Temple of love,
The Mission - Deliverance,
Guns 'n' Roses - You could be mine,
Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit,
Metallica - Enter Sandman,
Rage Against The Machine - Killing in the name of
U2 - Vertigo
Kyro - Supernatural (the Cannonball run website soundtrack)

Dance / House:
Jamiroquai - Return of the space cowboy (remix not album/single version),
Blaze - Precious Love,
Prodigy - Breathe / Firestarter,
Planet Perfecto - Bullet in the gun / It's not over yet
Freemasons - Love on my mind

Rap / Hip-Hop:
LL Cool J - Mama said knock you out,
N.W.A - Express Yourself,
N.W.A - Straight outta Compton

Try listening to the above and not giving it the full beans !

Andy Lewis "Billion Pound Project" CD on Acid Jazz? Anybody who can sample a Merlin engine on a track without sounding ridiculous ....

And if you want to watch the avenues & alleyways video on www.rinaldisings.com it features a TVR.
