No more prevaricating - paid the deposit today, now have to wait until Easter.

Just had to tell some folks who would understand. Now all I can do is enjoy vicariously; watching this forum, visiting the factory - annoying the dealership.

J***s, the next three months will go by SLOWLY.....

Welcome to the wonderful world of the TVR grin!! and to the equally wonderful world of the speed six.
Hope you have as much fun with the Tam, as we have with our T350c.

Well done

What did you spec, then? What colour?

Does anyone know how many Tams have been made now? They seem to still be squuezing a few out between the saggys and T2s.

Reflex charcoal (fingers crossed on that, as that colour is now defunct apparently but some favours being called in). Anthracite 18" wheels and A/Con.

Sleep? Haven't had any for the last two weeks in anticipation of just ordering one. No chance now....

I hope to trip up to the factory late March, and I will ask then how many have been produced so far.

I hope so. Something will need to compensate for the lack of fun I feel that I am to be experiencing from my wife. I'm not her best friend..... "B****y mid-lfe crisis!"

1 day less to wait....

Great choice of colour - my T350 is Reflex Charcoal, and it looks amazing. I wasn't aware they were discontinuing it.....

If you've been with his wife, there are better ways to tell him than on the internet!

It's amazing the things you can find out about on these forums! (I haven't quite figured out how to insert a quote yet, but you know what I mean....)

Reflex Charcoal;was informed by the dealer (John at Racing Green) that it was originally a Rover MG colour, so now no new stocks of paint available. The stuff that they do have is to be kept for repairs etc.

HOWEVER.... doesn't quite add up, because I thought that the paint man in the factory could formulate just about any colour. Anyhow, glad to hear that the T350 looks good in it, as that's more representative than the Tuscan that was in the showroom.

Another day less to wait...

Probably a difficult paint to apply evenly. The factory is just trying to fob you off. They can indeed mix virtually any paint colour as long as the paint code is known. Stick to your guns, insist on it, threaten to take your order away, and watch them suddenly "discover" that they can indeed do one more run. They need the sale.

Best of luck.

It is the best colour by far, so we will stick to our guns. I'll be talking to Racing Green later today.

BTW, Silver or Anthracite wheels?
