This may be a stupid question, but I was watching a re-run of Top Gear yesterday and it showed people getting into a Tuscan 2 and trying to find out how to start it. Is it that difficult on a T 350 ?

No it is not difficult in any of the Ts. TG and Numpty Clarkson were just trying to having a laugh at the gullible great British public and possibly at TVRs expense. But as long as everyone thinks it's difficult then less likelihood of your P&J being stolen.

So it is just a case of turning a key and pressing a button ?

No you just turn the key.

Like any car if its immobilised because you took too long getting in then you'll have to press a button or whatever it takes to de-immobilise first.

Thanks for that, I am hopefully getting my first TVR T350T tomorrow and have test drove T350s and Tams in the past but never started one up , how strange is that!

1. Unarm the car from your remote.
2. You then have 10 seconds to get in and start the car by turning the key, otherwise the immobilizer cuts back in and disables the fuel pump.
3. If you are beyond the 10 seconds, you then have to press the button on your remote (or insert the immobilizer key into the dash), that will then start the fuel pump which is the loud noise you can hear. You can then start the car.
