Hi guys and gals

I've just taken the plunge and put a deposit down on a stunning T350t at Racing Green ... picking it up on Saturday, and I can't ever remember feeling so excited about anything.

Massive thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. Without these honest threads there's no way I would have felt informed enough to buy one of these awesome machines.

Hope you're all out there enjoying the sun!!!

... its the blck one. Test drove the yellow one as well and it was a toss up between the two. Was it previously owned by anyone on here???

Aaaahhh, the black one. John offered me the black one back in July when i was looking to buy mine, but we couldn't come to any decent finance deal considering it was used, so i plumped for a brand spanking new one in teh end from Peninsula. Apart from the finance package, nothing would have stopped me as the car is a nice example. IIRC it belonged to a very rich customer of his who chops and changes his cars every few months. I was going to get the tints and sports exhaust removed though.

Good choice - seen that car a couple of times while in Racing Green... enjoy.

You have picked a good dealer too - highly recommend John, Martin and the team at RG.

Thanks JasperJ ... your car looks absolutely stunning by the way, great colour combo

Have to be honest and say that I would never have gone for that colour combo from pictures posted on the net. These cars look so different in the flesh, especially the Tam which I think is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and photos rarely seem to do it justice.

Agree (especially on the colour combo ) - I had a Tamora previously and have to agree that it is ONE HELL of a gorgeous car.. never seen a photo that does it justice.. Suspect a couple of Tamora owners will be along soon to prove me wrong

PS - have fun on Saturday, hope the weather stays dry !!

Seems about right.

Most negative opinions seem to be based on photographs rather than actual experience.

Fortunately the opposite seems true once anyone has actually seen one in the flesh.

Yeah, enjoy tomorrow. Tad jealous as I have two months to wait for mine from Racing Green, as I opted for a new Tamora.

Counting down the days....went in there today just for a fix!!

... can't wait for tomorrow!!! I put the deposit down last Saturday and this has been the longest week of my life. I have no idea how you guys make it through 2/3 month when buying new.

I love the Tam and was really torn between that and the 350t. What colour combo have you gone for?

Fantastic!!! Been driving round it all day and have only come in to watch a bit of the rugby although I'm actually spending more time looking out of the window at the car.

I knew the performance would be outstanding but what really struck me, on my 45 min trip back on the M3, was the build quality. Being hand built cars I was expecting a few rattles 'n' shakes, but there are none, and the wind noise from the pods was fine cruising at around 80-85mph.

Recon I will take it easy for the next few weeks until I get used to it, but this is definitely the beginning of something beautiful

Great to hear.

I still remember driving back from Barnet inhaling that uique TVR leather aroma and admiring the aluminium controls,Speed Six rumbling away.It felt tight and well put together-different from any other car for sure but still oviously put together with care. 10 k later and it feels exactly the same. Enjoy your car.

P.S. The current record for 1000 miles is a week.

Glad you enjoyed your first day. The long wait really did nearly lead me to buy a used one. But I wasn't happy with the colour combos, so bit the bullet and decided to wait.

We've chosen Reflex charcoal with Forest Green (I think it's called) and Stone leather. Going for anthracite 18" alloys too, although that will be decided when I visit Blackpool late March.

Have to say that your 350 looks great. If I was you, I'd probably be finding all sorts of excuses to just go and sit in it at the moment.

Re 1000 miles; I'm hoping to tie up collecting it with a few days off, so hopefully less than a week and it will be back in to see Martin and the guys at Racing Green!!
