Reverse Light on when in 5th

Over the last 3 weeks I have had 2 different people tell me my reversing light is on when driving down the road.

Finally checked this out and it happens the minute I change up to fifth.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, if so how was it resolves?

The reversing light switch needs adjusting. It is located under the transmission tunnel trim.

We have had this on ours.
It apparently just needs an adjustment. Ours was due to go into Gatwick TVR and is being adjusted there.

happened on mine too but it's an easy, quick and permanent fix.

but if you have sat nav it won't work properly without it done as it thinks the car's in reverse!

It does make you wonder. I was driving behind Bal when it happened and I thought he had selected the wrong gear

No wonder the guy in the Vanquish S chasing me down the M25 was flashing!!
