Thinking of swopping my t350 for a Sag only problem is I dont know if I can get a Sag up the drive. The drive slopes upwards but before doing so the nose of my t350 has to dip in the gutter due to the camber. With a whisker to spare, the t350 wheels start to lift the nose before it scrapes. Can any one tell me how the Sag differs ? Is it lower ? Do the front valances stick forward more than the t350 so are likely to scrape before the wheels lift the nose ? Any one elsehave to scrape in and out of the garage ? How robust are the front splitters ? Can you see the damage without crawling under ?
Thanks.
BTW - Been out in the t350 today and swear it is getting faster by the day.

I have the same worries. Although owners have said that you can clear a speedbump by taking it at an angle, that doesn't help when trying to get into a drive or (in my case) the garage! I'd be interested to know what replies you get.

Hi Guys,

I have had this problem with the last 3 cars as I have a steep drive with a raised lip at the top.

I build an AC Cobra rep in the garage and never thought to check!! It ground every time
Then I built the Ultima, I could get this off the drive but had to be very careful getting it over the super raised speed ramp (note launch pad for chav's).

The Sagaris has no such worries and IMHO seems much, much lower at the front. Touch wood I have not experienced the speed ramp issue and my local area is riddled with the things.

I find parking the Sagaris harder as you cannot see the front, I been very close on a number of occasions.

Thanks Michael - good to know it goes over the speed bumps. Can any one give me a direct comparison to a t350 ? I know my current t350 makes it just and I dont have any problems with speed bumps either but the Sagaris looks lower and easier to damage potentially ?

The Sag is definitely lower than the T350! I sat mine next to Richard Parkers Sag and its supprising how much difference there is.

Never had any problems with speed bumps except this weekend in London (Avenue Road going south towards Regents Park) when the middle of the front underside scraped a particularly nasty one. Some places in London seem to ridiculous size speed bumps.

Strangely the area between the front splitters below the number plate is the first point to make contact when approaching an obstacle straight on, even though it looks as if the edges of the splitters would touch first. You tend to catch it on car park ramps quite often.

I’ve lightly scratched the undersides of the side splitters a few times turning out of T-junctions at the bottom of steep slopes. But as it’s right underneath you can’t see it.

I too have a very awkward steep drive. I was quite worried a Sagaris wouldn’t fit. So before I committed to having one I got the dealer to bring their demonstrator round to make sure.
