Nitrons or something else?
Discussion
OK it's silly season when we start thinking about the Summer sun and dry roads and spending a few pennies...
I intend to do something with the suspension - springs and dampers. They'll need to cope with our crappy roads (is it me or is the M6 north of Brum worse now than before they "mended" it?). Track day performance not really an issue, but a bonus.
Nitrons seem to be the most plugged (e.g. TVR Power site) but are they worth the 1K (fitting extra I assume).
What else is out there?
What are your experiences with the std suspension and, if you've changed, compared to what you have now?

Id go Nitrons myself - they are a good VFM 1 way adjustable, plus they are rebuildable...so every 2-3 years get them rebuilt for £50 each and you have everlasting suspension.
If you really want to go to town then Ohlins are about £1500
probably cost you £500 for someone to fit them and a full geo check/corner weight etc.

if you want to do a technical comparison then check out the construction of Nitrons vs the cheaper competition...I dont think you will find anything that comes close for the money. I certainly wouldnt fit anything less on any of my cars...no Gaz, Spax, Bilsteins, Konis etc...they are all inferior in the sub £1K price bracket
