Firstly what a great site this is, I bought a T350C 03 in October what a great little car
apart from the odd niggle, for its performance the brakes don't seem to hot, the brake peddle seems very solid and you really have to push it hard to get a suitable responce when slowing from high speed, i've updated the pads to EBC Red Ceramics which seems to have improved it slightly, is this normal for this car. They just don't seem sharp enough
Anybody have the same problem!

The brakes certainly have less servo assistance than your average German car. However, they should slow the car down very well when pushed. Like all functions on a TVR, the more you push it/twist it/pull it, the more it works - everything is smooth and linear. I.e. Brake in a BMW or Audi and the car slows and keeps slowing more and more. With the same foot movement the TVR will slow, then continue at that slightly slower speed. Does that make sense?
I'm not a fan of EBC pads, but have never tried Reds. Do they work in normal town driving?
I've got some Ferodo DS2500 front/rear pads I'm waiting for a warmer day to put on. From past experience I'm expecting much better performance than the Mintex 1144 I've got on right now (the Mintex aren't bad, just not as feelsome as I'd hoped and they fade on the track).

EBC Reds are very hard pads so if this is an improvement I hate to think what you were running before! I suggest you try some decent quality fast road pads and stay away from track/race pads unless you run into overheating problems. If you *do* have overheating problems then for a road car it would be better to improve the brake cooling rather than fit harder pads.
The EBC red ceramics are a new fast driving/ track day pad, when i got the car the brakes seemed to fade quite quickly so i thought these pads would be OK, it could be that the car just want's using more to get everything bedded in, they seem fine at slow speeds and are definately better at high speed, this is my first TVR and i've still havn't lost the stupid grin after a burn up

I haven't tried EBC Red Ceramic, but the RedStuff range has traditionally been a higher temperature rating than the GreenStuff and GreenStuff is already marginal for road use especially this time of year.
Something else to bear in mind whatever pads you use is that most pads need to be bedded in correctly before they work properly. For example there is a specific procedure to be followed for the GreenStuff pads and they work much better after this. They're still rather hard for normal road use though, especially this time of year.

its tvr's answer to abs like the long throttle is tvr's answer to traction control.
they do work if you want them to.

bed these pads in for a few hundred miles
That implies that you're going to drive it for a while and hope that beds them in? Often there is a specific procedure that has to be followed, and driving around as normal doesn't do it. For example a common theme is to do a series of successively harder and harder deceleration runs. Some types need to be pushed to the point of fading. Some need a different procedure. You need to follow the manufacturers instructions for your particular pads, which would have come with the pads.
The lack of servo assistance has been done on purpose to make it harder to lock up the wheels. It's a very smart set up for a non-abs car. I was truly amazed at how it worked last year in the snow. You really have to be brutal with it to lock it up. It also gives a lot more feel, something woefully lacking in many modern cars.
Personally, I love the brakes as they are.

Agree with everyone's experience/advice, & add that IMO the red EBC's are too hard grade to warm up enough for road use most of the time. The DS2500 pads that Targarama & I are using give more bite than std pads when cold with very slightly less pedal pressure, yet high fade resistance for occasional trackdays. They are halfway between std & track pad grades. Only downside is slight increase in brake dust if used hard - not noticeable during road use.
