Power steering problem. Help.
Discussion
Hi, I ve just returned from 10 days of holiday, and been out in my T350 only to find I have no power steering. All was fine when I left. I have looked for a fuse, but find no mention of a fuse for PAS in the hand book.
The car started first time and is running perfectly apart from this.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
I have just had my Tam serviced and MoT'd at SP, and it failed the MoT because the power steering stopped working (typical!), when they took it back to the service area, they found that it was just the fuse, they changed it and all was well again, and it passed - may be worth asking them where the fuse is (I don't know, but was mightely relieved!)
There's a separate fuse holder tie-wrapped to the outrigger at the battery cover. This holds a 80A fuse (it's the same type of holder as the infamous "100A fuse" holder - you need to remove the battery cover. Because of its position and the exposure of the associated wiring, you get problems with corrosion so it pays to check all the connections as well as the fuse itself. Hope this helps.
