I have had an acumate battery charger attached to my Tamora - does anyone know if i can keep the battery on charge for extended periods of time eg a week without doing any damage to the battery ?
Yep, that's the idea of an Accumate.
Yep,
It is actually a trickly charger and it will only put into the battery what it needs.
J
I use the Accumate and recommend it to anyone with a TVR.

Excuse me for jumping in on this one... ex Chimaera owner hoping to join the Tamora owners club very soon. The car will be used as a weekend car, and it may well spend the odd fortnight in the garage. Could someone please let me know where and how the Accumate gets plugged into the car...is it on the underside of the car - passenger side, just behind the front wheel - as in the Tuscan? And does it need one of the Leven adaptors?
Cheers folks.....

Get the ciggie lighter adaptor and it plugs into the lighter socket on the centre console. Otherwise, yes you do need the special connecting leads and the external connector is under the car behind the NSF wheel.
