Hi guys, My 350C still has v/hot air from the Windscreen vents when heater turned off, could be a nightmare in summer, mid vents are OK, the dash board gets V hot, anybody else
had this prob or know of a fix.

Close them.....?

Not 100% sure but aren't the windscreen vents hot only?

Thanks for stating the obvious but the dash gets very hot, i suppose with the vents shut the heat has to go someware, I rang prestige at Melton today, they said that the heating/vents system are prone to problems, so i've booked her in.

I could be getting the wrong end of the stick, but aren't the heater flaps adjustable from the pod (which determines how hot they get?)

I'm no expert, but surely if you turned the heater dial (not the blower dial)down for cold air (One green light left on, instead of all of them including the red), instead of hot, this should cure it, even when switched off! (Does on mine anyway!)

No its hot even with the dial turned fully off ( one green light ) I know I can close the vents but the Dash board still gets hot and as I'm going to Le Mans in june, if its anything like last year 42'C it will be baking in there.

Probably connections to the motorised valve that alters temp; mine had opposite problem of no heat; was apparently a simple fix at my 1000m service.

Just traded my t350 for Sagaris. Can confirm top of my dash on t350 was v. hot. Hot air always came out of the windscreen vents. Was advised to open them so air could escape and not build up in dash. Others vents would be cold. Air con OK but needed both windows down in summer. Just collected Sag. Sag feels even hotter !!!.

I wish you hadn't brought this up Chris - my temp control has now stuck again, in the cold position!

I know Spring is around the corner but it was a bit too fresh over the Pennines to Harewood hillclimb school today

Just got the T350 back fromm PPC at Melton, the V hot dash was caused by a poor body molding in the Heater Box assembly, which is located on the left side of the engine bay under a sealed panel(which was a bu**er to get off)there was a gap of @3/4" inch where the flap closes so after several hours toil they have fixed OK. Its now a cool car again
