was it all just a dream?
Nope-works a treat.Mind you I had got to the point of asking Martin to fit an old analogue Smith's meter on the basis that it was just as inaccurate but didn't make that blood irritating beeping noise!!
How's the clutch saga Chris?
LOL, wll, as it happens, I too have a non-leaking oil pressure sensor (third time lucky!) The small leak that I had was down to an oil hose not tightened up correctly!
The clutch is still fine, well, I say fine, it bites right at the top of the pedal, but is still a nice smooth change with no grinding - I bet it's gonna go on the day of the Tam meet! I feel like getting it sorted now, for piece of mind, but then again, it could last another 3K miles!
Funny, been using the wife's MG the past couple of days, and I awear the pedals and gearchange are heavy, compared to the Tam - the Tam being much easier to drive!
Yup-youll just be about to drop down a gear and floor it and .....nothing!
Know what you mean about the weighting of the pedals-I think theres a lot of things you get used to and then take for granted in a Tiv untill you drive another car.Had a drive in a Boxster a little while ago. Wonderfull build quality, nice handling and a cohesive feel to driving it but lordy was it heavy -the steering felt very heavy which was a suprise.
