tailgate wont open
Discussion
Hi guys ive got a bit of a problem took the car out for a run today all was fine and loads of fun so as you can imagine needed to add some gas got to the petrol station hopped out smiling from ear to ear only to fint the tailgate wouldnt open, which is a bit of a problem as not only cant i fill her up the targa panels are in there too and so is the manual so cant check that.
so anyone have any ideas (hey i know im stupid but i dont even know where the fusebox is.)

You may be fixed by now, but if not......fuse panel is under dash on driver's side. Have you tried pressing more firmly than usual on the 'gate, while pressing the button?
Curiously, no fuse listed specifically for tailgate, but are individual ones for both doors no.22 & 23, and for each door's ecu's no's 7 & 8. But if both doors still work, best to check every fuse. If still no joy, may be a connection to the lock? But you could really squeeze through from front seats to open the fuel filler (or a mission for a child!)

Ok after much contortionism checked all the fuses all ok tried arming and disarming a cpl of times but still no luck tailgate wont budge cant hear it trying at all, the problem is ive got the load cover on and am realy struggling to get the catches undone from the front.
Is there a manually override for the tailgate?
Is it worth trying my local garage or is there an indie in the manfield/ nottm area?
any help gratefully appreciated.
