Its a warranty repair - get it back to the dealer! - If its rubbed the paint off then they will have to repaint under warranty too.

This is covered within the 1st year only - yes? My car is almost 2 years old but the door has rubbed!

This happened recently with both the passenger and drivers doors on my Tamora. I brought it to the dealers and it's going to be sorted under warranty at the upcoming 6000 mile service.

How old is your car??? Mine is 2 years old in June and I was wondering if this would still be covered?

loosen the 3 bolts on the catch.
Close the door.
Open the door.
Tighten the bolts.

2005. It's covered under the 3-year warranty.
