Yesterday I was going to post to say how well behaved my Tam was after needing a new clutch and pod ECU recently.

However, that was yesterday.

Today, after a nice little drive and an hour or so rest I tried to start her up again and she's developed an immobiliser fault!

The immobiliser won't switch off using the key fob or dongle thingie.

Other than having her flatbedded back to the dealer tomorrow, anyone know how to reset it? I'm thinking disconnect the battery (requires NS wheel off so not keen) or ring the Meta guru Carl Baker.

Good job I renewed my warranty - eh?

I'll be glad when she's grown out of this naughty child phase

Presumably you mean remove the main fuse in the passenger footwell to disconnect the battery - good idea.

Fixed it myself by finding the unit and pushing the connectors in. I then made sure it was secured in a position where it wouldn't be exposed to vibration directly.
