My Sagaris is in TVR Power now for it's 12 month/6000 mile service.

However there are just two small problems to resolve

1)the drivers door glass is a bit slow in rising.

2)the passenger door does not always open fully on the first push of the button.

So thats just two small problems in 12 months of motoring (if you discount the bonnet issue)

TVR have the quality spot on in my case, for example my brand new VW Passat has been back 8 times to the dealer for problems and has been off the road for weeks in the last 6 months. No such problems with the sagaris.

So well done TVR and especially the workers who built her, I will certainly be buying a new TVR again in the future.

I would just add that when I had the problem with the bonnet the factory were excelent and the car was fully repaired at their cost and they looked after me whilst they did it.

Thank you TVR for a very enjoyable 12 months of owenership

I hope that all those poor workers layed off at Blackpool are back building TVR's again very soon

Great Stuff Sportie,

Ours is ready to be collected from Castles from her 12000 mile service. A few niggles...nothing major, oil sensor, reversing light that sort of niggle.

Car is going like a damn train......just superb.

Hope to see you Sunday mate!

Good post mate. Had my 12k and all I had on the list was the oil sender.

They build them well and I would not hesitate to buy another.

NO!!! Not good enough!!! I just don't believe you - - - - in fact, I don't know what I'm doing contributing to this anti-negative thread, what's the point if we can't bitch!!!

Seriously, that's good news; I don't think a lot of people who see some threads appreciate that an awful lot of posters only post when they have a prob - not too many 'regular' posters - when the 'n00b' comes on here asking for advice, the vultures seem to smell 'em and go in for the kill first!

Have to admit, waiting for the results of my last service and MOT was worse than taking my driving test! Such a relief when told all's OK (ish!)

Mine will soon be ready for its 12k service - if work stops getting in the way of me driving it .

It has been absolutely fantastic - cannot fault it. I can never bother getting embroiled in those ‘TVR/S6 are all crap debates’ – they usually go round in circles.

Just to say they have one very happy customer here and I would buy another new one tomorrow if required (hope RG are not reading this).

Have fun everyone…

I work at a dealership that keeps approx 300 cars of all makes from six months old to ten years old including tvr`s and if you take into account that they are handbuilt semi supercars they really are no worse than most other(barring toyotas, beemers, focuses!}example 10 month old fiat ulysse air bag light came on because it got damp in a seatbelt pretensioner, get this: not covered under warranty? :£1647 for new module, four weeks at dealership!this is a 20k car a year ago not the same as a 12k engine I know but still bloody expensive!our own voyager has cost a whopping 10k to keep going for 3 years.
moaning about small problems is all well and good but what about when production cars with pontentially fatal flaws make it on to the market, there have been many over the last ten years, tyres coming off rims, airbags self activating, sparking fuel caps etc,
when all is said and done all cars are troublesome, some far more than others {FRENCH CARS)!, and the more you expect from something the more you must put into it,quality dosent come overnight but from my experience with these cars they are steadily improving.
IF YOU ARE SENSIBLE ENOUGH TO AFFORD A TVR THEN IT STANDS TO REASON THAT YOU ARE SENSIBLE ENOUGH TO MAKE A DECISION WETHER TO BUY ONE OR NOT KNOWING THAT THEY ARE NOT PERFECT/UNRELIABLE.......... IT ISN`T A SECRET.(it cost nearly 5k to service a 348 (1994)ferrari recently,4k on 993 brakes less than 8000 miles, and the best part of a grand servicing a 2 year old goldwing}.THEYRE ALL AT IT!

Just left my sagaris for its 1yr service at the local dealers. The main man did ask me was there " anything else to be done? ". I think he thought there must have been something wrong with me as I stood in the rain, scratching my head, desparately thinking of doors, windows, bonnet, fault codes, squeaks, rattles, bits that fall off....before I replied ( after what seemed like 10mns ) " no, nothing...it just goes like stink, all the time! " Roll on 5pm.....

I spent some time with a Sagaris a few weeks back, obviously the performance and handling stand out as well as the styling but one of the things that impressed me most was the improvement in build quality compared to others I've sampled..... TVR's most important step forward I suspect; SP6 seems sorted in the Sagaris too, which is good. I'll certainly be keeping a curious eye on used values!

My good lady is taking in her 2005 Tamora today for its 6000 service after recently completing a sucessfull 3000 mile Spanish Tour.

Problems that we are aware of the need to be addessed at the service.....none.
