Or does the Speed 6 engine really get better after it's 1K service?

Picked it up last evening from Racing Green and it seems so much more free and easier revving? Grinned all the way home. If this is an indication, I can't wait to spend some more money on the 6K service.

Now at approx. 15K with the 'Gris. After 6K there was a noticeable difference, and post 12K the engine is just landed. Superb car, beautifully balanced, a real pleasure to drive.

Mine feels better now at 13k than any other time. You'll notice a marked improvement between now and 3-4,000 miles. Enjoy

Well, mines now got 20K on it, and since the last big 24K service, it's so smooth its criminal! They do seem to get better as you pile on the miles.

Just goes to show how biased the forums are in favour of the doom mongerers and non owners - people who have had no probs simply don't post as often as I sometimes wish they would! Then again, some are just too busy enjoying them!

I think you need 6-9K on it to get it really run-in !

I think that I'll be putting the next 5-6K on very easily. It does just about everything so well; from a trip through the New Forest, to a blast on the A roads, to a quick nip out to get a curry.

ANY opportunity I'll be behind the wheel.

Sadly, not for a week though as I'm off to work away until next Monday.

We've just got the Sagaris back from her 12,000 mile service.
Just recently she's had two new rear tyres (after an exciting and expensive run through a tunnel )and has been balanced/front/rear tracking on a laser machine.

I drove her today M25/M40 to the Yellow meet and I can honestly say she is running better now than when we first bought her, and we thought she was good then!!

She looks amazing, sounds amazing (Dartford tunnel on return trip ) and the drive is just a complete joy...even in the rain with traffic down to 40mph!
