Should be 60+.

Fans kick in at 92. It will normally need them in traffic. They should stop it going much over 100, even when it is really hot.

110 is getting dangerous.

60-90 on mine depending on weather., traffic. As I have a red rose I have an extra expansion tank so that made a huge difference. Before that was fitted i was regularly in the 80-99c temperature.

Car engines like to be nice and warm to be most efficient. Look at the gauge in most 'normal' cars and it will read around 90 degrees. TVRs are no different. I'm not sure on what the thermostat stats are for the Speed Six, but the engine should be running a water temp of 85-95.

Obviously oil temp is not the same.

Mine settles at about 92 with the oil going from 65 to 80 depending on speed, revs and ambient temps.

Do you think that it is possible for the water temp to be a true 98 deg c when you are doing 70-80 mph. I have checked my fans are kicking in so should I get a new water temp sensor ?
