So as we don't hijack the Saggy top speed thread anymore, I thought I'd start a new thread for the above topic after Mr Mostly asked this;

sideways mostly said:

what are you looking forward to at the MoShow from Young Nick ? I'd like supercharged Six personally, lots more donkeys. And a 2+2 to keep get the Cerbie crew buying again. And a V8 for especially grunty donkeys to help Uncle Bulgaria buy a new caras well.

Actually thats a big hijack-sorry! (Not anymore! )

LOL, yes, would like to see both new S6 cars and (new, not 2 valve per cylinder)V8s (was impressed with the way that Marcos overtook a lorry in some dodgy program I watched the other night!), but no 'batmobiles, just nice, clean looking but gorgeous shapes, these are what makes TVR, TVR, I think.
I think that perhaps a modern V8 would suit an updated Cerbie more than a revvy S6 - keep the fab S6 for the more 'hardcore' (track oriented) 'T' range, with a supercharged range topper, and have the V8 for the rest of moaning minnies, if for no other reason than to see what they moan at next!

I think they should go back to basics and make a V8 sports car(two seats convertable) and stop making so many coupes, there are too many models that look the same(from a side profile)although a cerb 2 should be nice

A 2 +2 with an RS4 V8 lobbed in the engine bay would do just nicely thankyou very much.

supercharged speed 6. I've never driven one of the v8s of old but in my opinion the speed 6 is one amazing engine, for me anyway. I just hope he comes out all guns blazing and stuff.

Pie in Sky me thinks. IMO TVR could not solve (at least to date) the overheating problems (that's why NS's Typhon is not S/Charged), and have you seen the cost of something like the RS V8 lumps?

As the S6 is a modular design - why not an S8? Now that would be interesting

I know what's going to be there, and unfortuantely it's nothing to get 'that' excited about. It will comprise of 3 things:

1x new model
1x slightly revised model
1x modifaction that will affect the whole range of models.

Obviously I can't say anymore, but you can forget all about superchargers and the like.

I told NS ages ago that 3-wheelers were 'the future'.

Wanna see more women in mini skirts and boots, who know knack all about cars, and how about some more freebees, seems to be thing of the past.

Well, that was more confusing than the current range !

There might be a clue here....
"A stunning new, limited edition TVR brochure dedicated to the marque's latest models - the Sagaris couple, the Tuscan targa and the Tuscan convertible"

A true successor to the Griffith - uncluttered classic shape with one of the new crop of V8s under the bonnet - NS needs an alliance with a big player for engines/gearboxes such as BMW, Audi, Jaguar, etc.

A real grown-up convertible TVR not another toy one that only dwarves can drive in any comfort

I'm 6ft 5 and find there is plenty of room in my T350. Unless you're extra tall and consider me to be a dwarf

I want a T350 Convertible, Speed Six engine is fine. A nice fat V8 would be a brucie bonus. Oh, and go back to the original pricing - £39,995 inc. 18 inch wheels and aircon.

A 2+2 with a V8 preferably (but a speed 6 will do) with a 6 speed gearbox, that way the rest of the family can enjoy the car too!

If there is a 2+2 that meets this I'll order one instantly.

At the end of the day something to stop all the stupid rumours once and for all.
