Hi all,

My T350 had its first MOT friday... and failed on offside headlight alignment and handbrake efficiency. All relatively minor and quickly sorted by Racing Green. And when they mean tweaked the rear brakes, they've cleaned up discs and even re-painted the hubs. Very impressed!
Just those niggles and an oil temp sensor to report after 8 months and 3k. Very happy.

"Thats the same two things my T350c "nearly" failed on last weekend, looking into the lense from the front of the car, the name 'Hella' can be seen, and both are the right way up. but when the lights are on up against my garage door, they look like Mr Spocks eyebrows, if you know what i mean??.
I also had very little movement on the hand brake mechanism on one side.
Did your MOT inspector have any probs reading the emisions,as mine did? apparently too much air was getting into the exhaust via the other tail pipe, giving a bad readout.

I wasn't with my car when it was tested so don't know if there was a problem testing the emissions. Dealer did say the hand brake isn't very good on most TVRs and is a common failure case, but curious to hear of two cars with misaligned headlights (mine was offside light too high). Perhaps vibration causes the mechanism to drift over time?

Nice colour btw Dave.

Hi Daren, Thanks for the comments on my car, yours looks nice too! A year after i bought the car from new,(now out of body warranty) i noticed one of the lights had come unstuck, and had fallen back into the body, i removed the wheel, literally had to tear the inspection panel off to get at the lights, to find that it was only stuck in place with two pea sized blobs of bonding paste, after cleaning up and rebonding back in, i viewed the lamp fom the front of the car, and could only set it level by guessing using the'Hella' logo on the light itself.
So i guess that it might be my fault that its out of alighnment in this case, but that was the place that the light fitted the snuggest
i would be interested to hear from other owners whos T350C wee just having its first MOT.

My headlights are set far too high as well. Driver's one recently came loose and needs rebonding. PITA. This is the one thing my dealer never fixed right (they did everything else perfectly).
