To be brutally honest I think those pics are dull as ditch water. Crap light resulting in zero reflection or blance off the car, the car looks dirty, terrrible positioning/parking of the car, dull backdrop, just generally dull and doing no favours for the Sag!
Or is it just me that thinks that?

It'd just done 800 miles through France the night before, I should bloody well hope it was dirty! Too many folks round here spend far too long washing their little toys and then taking pics instead of just using the car as it was intended.
That wasn't my specific point DJC. My point was the photos are very uninteresting in general, due to many things.

Mine is usually caked in mud and stuff. But I do wash it once a week.
Hope you enjoyed your trip in France though.

the mud slinging....
No mud slinging mate, I just don't think they are very good pictures to be using in an 'Article', which will promote the Sag.
I'm sure DJC has taken everything said constructivly.
They're photos. He said he wanted some, I took em. Sorry I dont get the whole "art" thing about photos, one pic of a car is much the same as another pic to me. About as arty as I get is the taking one from the window above it!
The problem I find with road trips is that I always intend to take lots of pics, but then I'm too busy zooming along enjoying myself to stop at every photo opportunity.
My profile pic is one occasion where I stopped in a photogenic location. Here are a few more examples of ones taken with zero effort (i.e. where we stopped for a pee/lunch/breather):
This one at the top of a mountain pass near a ski resort 'Passa Di Madonna' or something like that, August 2004.
One of my old Chimaera, taken at a lunch stop in a Southern Belgium in 2003
This one was taken at a lunch stop in a small village near the Lascaux caves last June, again not planned, just opportunistic
