saves the day again, just a squirt on the drivers side door catch has stopped the "door open" warning light come up.

also on the seatbelt tensioner which was to sensitive and locking before i could even get the damn thing on.

How and where did you spray the magic fluid for the seatbelt tensioner? Got the same problem on the passenger side, but don't want to soak the seat belt as I'm averse to getting an ear bashing from the dearly beloved when she gets her clobber oily from 'your bloody car!'

i removed the panel covering it and pulled out the full length of the belt, then just sprayed both ends of the tensioner, its much better but now and again still locks, probably needs proper grease though.

Cheers Graham.

Still a bit tentative about 'pulling things off' but I'll give it a look. I've some aerosol white lithium grease, so if I do actually take anything apart I might try that instead.
