Thanks for your help guys car now starts and runs ok (fingers crossed) Lundinoir's comments following search of fuel pump relay "take out both immobiliser fuses" seems to have done the trick as my battery also ended up flat following water ingress/electrical issues.
Really chuffed to get it sorted as otherwise it would have been low-loader time.
TVR's may be temperamental at times but with PH's on hand it's a great help. Hope to see you at Tamora meet in June.
