...to my first TVR experience I'm afraid.

After 17500 miles the car needed a £6K rebuild, unconveniently when I was trying to sell it! And yes, I'd not bothered with the £1700 wear & tear warranty I was offered in January. A hard lesson learned there.

So, after 2.5 years, I said goodbye to her at Walldonway on Saturday and its going off to its new owner in Bath who's going to put a 4ltr Tuscan S engine in it....should be good!

So thanks to everyone's advice, chat & gossip on here. I'd still love to come back at some point when TVR sort themselves out (and when my bank balance recovers). And if someone asked me if I'd do it all again, even knowing what I know now, the answer would be a resounding "yes!".

Cheers, James

Good luck James! Hope you come back one day

P.S. A Tuscan S engine in the Tamora sounds like a great solution to the problem- good lateral thinking that man whoever you are.

I think he knocks about on PH so maybe we'll get a post from him at some point, it'll be one of the fastest cars in the kingdom when its done!

Spent the last week looking at TVRs in the classifieds. I must have a problem.
