Evo letter - Tamora European trip
Discussion
Hi AlexRWD
I've just been trawling through the old forum to find a topic about warranties and came across this!
It was me and my mate mooroo. It was the greatest driving week of my life. The trip over the swiss alps was breath taking but we were totally gutted when the Stelvio pass was closed.
We'll be looking to do something similar next year, and are now wondering about scotland after a recent letter to Evo. Although on the ferry home from the Monaco trip we got chatting to a couple of bikers who were raving about Isle of Mann.

Hi!
Well we have an Isle of Man TVR owner who might be able to help arrange a trip:

Yes Hi guys i am the manx man. The beauty about the IOM is the open speed limit, although there is of course lots of resricted areas through small towns and villages.
Bikers love the place because of the TT course which is 37 @ 3/4 miles long, ie they can race around like there hero's!
The main open stretch is the mountain section of the course which is about 8-10 miles of nice sweeping corners and very fast.
The down side is the amount of bumpy roads(mainly of the tt circuit) through out the place although the dept of transport keep on top of the TT course because of the racing.
I would organise a meet for you all,it would be nice to see a gathering of TVR's on the island, i can not ever remember seeing any type of TVR meets in the past.
Regards Paul

It sounds like a total winner to me.
I might have to take my car off the classifieds if this goes ahead!

Don't you dare - at least not until I've chosen which car I wish to purchase....

By the way Neil, I am glad you have changed your mind by looking into a TVR from a Elise!
I bought a T350C after a 111R and the 350 is sssoooo much more of a car.
You will love it.
look forward to seeing you in the IOM then!!
