Sure we all drive around marvelling in the roar of the engine and concentrating on our road positioning, but there comes a time when you're sat in traffic and a little distraction can be allowed. With this in mind I recently tried out the radio thing (centre of the dash, just in front of the gear shift) but was disappointed to discover that TVR appear to have installed it without an aerial. This means that with the engine running the reception is just south of not very good. Basically, unless you are parked next to the radio station transmitter you are lucky to get 10 seconds of decent hearing time without having to try another channel.

Has anyone managed to find an internal aerial which can be rigged up to afford some kind of continuity of reception ?

Doesn't sound right to me, probably a fault.

My chim had an aerial in the boot (on top of the fuel tank IIRC). The T350's radio works fine, though I haven't looked for the aerial - I' sure someone will be along shortly who knows where it is.

Good luck.

Reception I would say is poor. I think the aerial on a tamora is in the wing. I had a DAB aerial put in the boot. Reception appears quite good.

I have a DAB reciever in the the boot of my Tam, but i tend to use the normal radio receiver as the reception is perfect. One of the things i have never had a problem with....normally cant hear the radio anyway cos the standard speakers are rubbish!

Thanks for the input guys. Must be a fault I reckon. I'll pull the radio out tomorrow and see if anything is indeed plugged in the back. If not I'm off to see my friendly dealer.
