It seems unusually cheap especially from a dealer... 16" wheels aren't a problem as I have a set of anthracite 18" in the garage.

Nothing much with it, as far as I could tell. I drove it not long back, and it felt no different from the lower-mileage Tamora I bought instead. I almost went the Fernhurst car, to be honest.

It's metallic black, has a few stone chips, thin paint on the door shuts, and you can see where it previously had stickers (though I'm sure they'll polish out). Some bits of trim are tatty (easily fixed, I guess), and the roll cage is a proper motorsport item – so will leave holes in the carpet if you remove it.

On the plus side, it had a new clutch at about 15,000 miles, appears to have been thoroughly serviced, and the Fernhurst crew seem to be a really nice bunch.

Definitely worth a look.

I've been after a Tamora for some time now, and spoke to Fernhurst about this one as it is the exact spec' I'm after. However, after a quick discussion, rightly or wrongly, I was instantly put off by it. I hope I'm not breaking any rules here, as I'm not trying to put any one else off it as I presume it's free knowledge, but basically it was previously owned by a tyre company as a test car, and so I would imagine has led a rather dramatic life so far!!

I can't see there being too much wrong with it, no expense spared on maintence and all that, and so long as it was warmed up properly all the time it should be fine, but I'd think that it 's probably reduced the life-span of certain components....

Oh well, my search continues, any know of a moonraker black Tamora with black interior please let me know

It was actually Terry Grant's old stunt car I think. Not quite what you'd describe as one careful owner!

Some shots of it here:

Given that the guy's reputation (not to mention his life) depended on that car I would think it has been maintained better than a lot of the cars out there. I'd have maybe wanted a bit more of a discount though as I can see it putting people off come resale time.
