Keep it waxed and they should come off with good quality shampoo when washed. I use maguiars.

I find that if you keep the car waxed with maguiars, then bugs come off easily with a shammy. The stubbon ones take just a little more elbow grease.

The car following John Wayne Bobbits missus had the same problem. 'Look at the cock on that fly' they said as it hit the windscreen.
Dont know what it was removed with though!

Lay a warm damp cloth over the offending splat for a few mins. It seem to come off quite easy then. You just need to rehydrate it. Failing that a pressure washer does the trick too.

How come most of the TVRs at Gaydon on Sunday were bug-less? At least some of us kept up the impression of the cars actually being driven by displaying a selection of squished nasties.

Funny how Ferarris seem to not be affected by bugs

Targarama, because some were there early cleaning them ! I arrived and thought, this is a keen lot waxing and cleaning their cars at the show. Then I got out and saw the result of a great run up the M40.

I use an old towel, soak it in hot water and a little washing powder. Lay this over the bonnet for 10 mins and the bugs just lift off. I little wipe and buff up and you are as good as new. No effort needed.
