noticed that when i stop after driving my sag for a decent lenght of time (25-30 mins+) that i have a fair amount of water coming out of the nearside of the engine. is this a by-product of the aircon especially due to the recent hot weather, or something far more worrying? water temp around 90, oil around 70.

Every car I've owned that has had aircon drips with condensation so I wouldn't suspect this is what your're experiencing. However, if your not 100% then it may be worthwhile have a trained expert investigate...

Mine was re-filled yesterday Morning

and the bloke told me to expect a puddle under the car after using A/C

as the 'dryer' loses the excess moisture picked up by the system
explels it via vent (like your fridge)
although externally

so there

so does this mean i'm ok or do i have a prob. total puddle about1/2 a litre or less. is this water generated by the air-con unit or is it using the cars water supply. will i be using more water when the air-con is used more in the summer?

The water is from the atmosphere. The heat of the engine and the coolness of the aircon unit result in the water from the air condensing on the components. Its not using any water IF the water is coming from the aircon unit.
