Put a rolled up towel in the area of the rear screen that is getting creased while lowering the rear hood section into its down position. I found this prevents the screen getting creased or scuffed.

When I eventually get the rear screen replaced, I'll get one that is held in with a zip, so it can be removed.

PS> R they expensive to replace ? I like the zip option....

thanks for the hinter...not sure if the towel option is
practical but will try, this sounds like it will stop
the plastic screen from actually folding which is the
problem.

The towel is fine but watch out! Whilst going round the track at 125mph at the recent Tamora meet mine decided it wanted to abandon ship luckily my passenger caught it before it flew off into the Porche behind.

I gues this is something to live with, as it does
look funkier with the hood fully down. Other Cabs
have the same problem by the looks, saw a S2000 with
a shocking scuffed rear window and looks like the MG's
suffer the same.

You guys can 'rescue' scuffed windows with polish (Renovo do the proper stuff!). This will take out all the light scuffs / clouding, and reduce any heavy scratches. I used some caravan window polish (bought from Halfrauds) for my Chimaera that works a treat

My m roadster had its rear pannel replaced under warrently and then came with a soft felt cover which clipped on - i would not expect to get my tam done under warrently but might try to get a similar cover.

I only really got a bit of clouding, just where it
creases when down and hits the fold down bars.

Seconding beware of the towel upgrade. Had the same fly-away problem, but I was on my own, and it was reflex to rach back and stop it flying away.

Not clever at motorway speeds!!

My towel decided to leave the car also on the motorway but to late to stop it, trick is to roll the towel up and then keep it rolled up with elastic bands. The elastic bands stop it from moving and will not fly out (yet).
