Heater and fan controls

when i have the temp control set to cold and the interior fans on, i'm still getting equivalent hot air flow from the screen and footwell vents .... surely this can't be right?

Correct. If the temp setting is on cold then the screen and footwell vents shouldn't be doing anything. But you may want to shut them as there will be some engine heat coming through.
If warm air's actually blowing through them it sounds like a heater-flap problem.

Turn heat to max and wait for fan speed to catch up, then pick your temperature, no more hot air, at least it works on my '03 T350.

TAM owners, I am getting toasted in this
weather, dont seem to get cool air at
any point... Wish I had A/C !
